Waikato U19s beat BOP U19s 33-27.
A comical ending with Waikato leading 33-24 and having a defensive 5 m scrum with time almost up. Instead of kicking for touch they phase and eventually concede a penalty which BOP taps despite the support staff yelling for them to take the 3. After numerous phases Cashmore misses a DG but the ref goes back for another penalty. So in added time Cashmore kicks the goal. According to the BOP video guys I spoke to after the game the BP means BOP finishes first in the Chiefs region games. The Chiefs teams (1, 2 and 3) play the same seeded Blues teams next Sat.
I don't know the score but Taranaki U19s beat CM U19s in the earlier game.
