Awesome to see Kahlia Awa on the bench! First year out of school, so still very young. Has only played one season of FPC for the Tui thus far, but very promising (also in other sports, but hopefully she sticks to rugby).

I can't see the Poua win this game, but I hope that they'll at least give good opposition and that the Manawa won't run away with it, especially not in the first half.

Awesome. The Poua also wear the socks of East Coast, Poverty Bay and Hawke's Bay, just like the men.

That was an excellent try to Olsen-Baker. Good forwards try.

IMO Willison is better at XVs than at 7s.

The Manawa had to work harder this time than in round 1, but still a very convincing win.
Hurricanes Poua put up a good fight.

FT: Chiefs Manawa 43 - 21 Hurricanes Poua

Probably been said a million times but semi finals are so weird for this comp. The final is just 1st v 2nd on the table anyway. Suppose it's a way to fill out the comp but still kinda weird.

It would be great if the Chiefs Manawa actually had 2 props on the bench. The starting front row are playing big minutes, and dominating I must say.

I was very surprised in how the bench was used so late. Coaches don’t seem to be too trusting and that’s a dangerous road as injuries happen when players get tired. I saw that TK was getting attention on her calf still after going off.
Didn’t think that Manawa were as in tune as they have been. They had to scrum and maul for penalties to work up field then wait to throw it around under advantage.
