    Did Saifoloi start as he has no.18 on his jersey? He's having a big impact, and I was surprised he didn't make the Chiefs U20 squad.

    @Stargazer Crusaders drew the short straw getting what is a very strong Babas team

    @Steven-Harris Yeah, I really wonder whether the NZ Barbarians being an U21 team is also a big factor. They've one year more of rugby development under their belt.

    There are plenty of U20 players in the Baabaas too, as well as some school leavers.

    @Stargazer some good players that were under 20 must a have been bloody unlucky not to have made their respective franchise teams
    As @Bovidae was saying how Xavier Saifoloi got missed is beyond me

    The Barbarians hold on and continue their winning streak.

    FT: 35-27.

    Bason was interviewed after the game. The team was only finalised on Wed so they had one training and a captains run.

    @Bovidae Basons family must have pissed off watching that coverage .
    Pretty bloody poor to at least not get the skippers name right
