Great start

2 of my Top 3 finishers from last night went in - Sweden and Switzerland

Very surprised Azerbaijan didn't make it

Perhaps because it was just a good song and not a circus act

Can see this on a movie / tv soundtrack in the very near future

My favourite was actually Norway. Great Loki cosplay too Pretty sure that Sweden will win, as the national judges will love that as well as the public

Austria was awesome this morning. 2 goth girls singing about Edgar Allen Poe - it sounded like they got the biggest cheer when voted through to the finals, so they may do OK

Just finished watching semifinal 1. I think Eurovision is a bit like an avocado harvest. Good one year, stinker the next. Not a patch on last year.

From a mediocre crop, only eliminate 5 out of the 15, of which 4 were my top 4 on the night!

Hoping semifinal 2 is better.

Finished semi 2, and the final. Enjoyed it actually. Amazing how quickly a tune can earworm with just a second listen.

Still not as good as last year, though, which was a cracker.
