Samoan international Michael Alaalatoa is returning to the Manawatū Turbos for the 2020 Mitre 10 Cup season.

The Crusaders prop, 28, was among three players the union confirmed had been signed on Wednesday along with former Brumbies midfielder Nigel Ah Wong and Taranaki prop Kyle Stewart.

@Yeetyaah That's correct. Lamborn signed for the Stags in December 2019. Not his first stint with Southland. He played for them in 2018 as well. Tokolahi signed with Southland in June.

[Julian] Savea is currently locked in negotiations with Wellington regarding the possibility of playing for the Lions during the Mitre 10 Cup season and said his preference is to remain in New Zealand for the foreseeable future.
