Tasman vs. Auckland

Jordan is the best player on the field - possible end of year smokey?
Not sure about him being the best player on the field, but definitely the best back. Several forwards have also had great shifts, like Frizell, Taufua and Blackadder.
Don't see Jordan in the AB frame yet; way too early (like Bridge).

Auckland looked really good in patches but some brilliance by Ta$man particularly some slick passing punished them at every turn.

Really good effort by Ta$man.
Auckland - apparently used to practicing on their miraculous insta-drain soils - unable to deal with it being a little heavy underfoot.
Jordan is fucking good. With a long queue of fullbacks, I don't really see them using the apprentice slot for him, but he's surely the rookie of the year?
And a provincial note - for 10 minutes this morning there were three Mako$ on the field together for the All Blacks. If I'd even thought of that happening five years ago I would have assumed I was drunk!

A bit late, but I thought Seu and Faiane gave it a good go in this game. Renata and Akira were decent too. I wish the Blues got Seu, because he's been looking Luatua-like this season.
Papalii did look good coming on. He has really packed on the muscle the last 12 months. I'd be tempted to push Seu to lock and drop Slade to the bench this week, and bring Papalii into the starting line-up. I'd also want Sione Havili on the bench instead of Dominikovich-Murray.
