2018 Brisbane Global Tens

There are a lot of good club players in crusaders. Ben Morris , Hamish Dalziel Brett Cameron ngane punivai from lincoln uni. Tom Christie , Zach Mckay from Christchurch and Dylan Nel from sumner. Some real talent in there , but untested at this level. Zach Mckay biggest surprise for me. Played colts last year and didn’t really dominate. I would’ve thought Connor garden bachop or Rameka Poihipi would’ve been ahead of him.

Has Losi Filipo got a chaperone if he decides to explore the Brisbane nightlife after the tournament?

I'd say no-one from the Crusaders' best 23 squad in that team - very few who would even make a second XV. A few names I barely recognize.
Surprising to me that Will Jordan hasn't featured in either this squad or vs the Hurricanes. Is he injured or is Razor keeping him under wraps?
Totally agree on Will Jordan. That aside, I think Razor has the right idea about how to manage this tournament, a chance for young and promising squad players to show what they can do.

Australian commentators are awful. High shoulder charge on Clarke goes unmentioned.
And they seem to know about 2 players names from each of the non-Australian sides

Did anyone else other than the TMO think the Highlander foot was in touch at the end there?
-
Keep the comms coming...for those of us who have no coverage....comms are excellent

@crazy-horse Be nice to think it was the language barrier and he meant his knee. Feet didn't seem to be an issue. Looked like a try to me, but the knee was close and I didn't get out a magnifying glass.
Can't someone invent some sort of X-ray Hawk-eye for rugby, so that these dodgy upstairs decisions get taken out of the equation.
Highlanders had enough chances to win that and bombed them. Pleasants-Tate should be cited - not sure what the Chief's guy was doing tackling the try scorer half an hour after he'd dotted down the ball either.
