I've been listening to a bit of bickie bickie bickie bickie pop-punk recently (okay a fair bit of "ska" as well). There is some catchy shit
Both of these songs speak to me on different levels

I've just discovered Greta Van Fleet.
Think the Black Crowes with Robert Plant on vocals.
I totally dig it. Although I do wish the singer at least sounded just a little bit different from Plant. The music is sensational though.
yea they are not bad, if a little "heavily influenced"
More than a little. You'd think Jimmy Page was producing the guitar, bass and drums.

Any TMBG fans around? It's nearly 20 years since Flood came out. Saw them at Bodega a few years back and am jelly that they are touring Oz shortly. Unfortunately they aren't making it over to NZ.

Blossoms, 90s feel to their music.

Not much discussion in this thread but alot of people posting new music and having their posts completely ignored. I guess when you get to our age you get a bit set in your ways when it comes to music.
i am proudly set in my ways. I am more likely to either find an old band i missed, or one i had forgotten about, and listen to that, than find a new band altogether. I am who i am, and I'm completely comfortable in that.

Always been a fan since I handed a friend a giftcard and asked her to get me an album while she was out shopping. She came back with their debut studio album.
More than just a great arse and a pretty face.

@antipodean i had forgotten how much i liked that song. Ripper track.

I am too. I guess what I'm saying is I'm not likely to click on something I don't know but if someone puts up an old tune I haven't heard for ages I'm on there like flies on shit.

I found Prisoner of Society less appealing than "From Here On In"

I was going to say it looks like it should be in Tim's thread.

Went to Eminem at the Caketin tonight. Massive gig, he's still got it. Good mix of new and old, although you know you are always going to get a medley type set from a rapper. He had some good support acts, include Hilltop Hoods from Adelaide. Also had a primo female vocalist who was excellent.
Holy shit a lot of young people still smoke ciggies, and the weed was flowing also!! Can't recall the last time I came home from a night out smelling like smoke. Don't miss it at all. Ha, def an old man!!

I must be older than you, I went to see this down the road from the stadium last night . I'm hoping Tyler Childers comes back with his band . Prine was awesome.
