I wasn’t sure if this should go here or in the Peak Guardian thread. I’m not sure that their definition of comedy is the same as mine.
I doubt their comedy is worth shit and based on the fact the Guardian asked them their opinions I’m not going to waste my time watching any to confirm that.

My favourite comedy sketch of all time. Griff Rhys Jones, Mel Smith, Geoffery McGivern. Written by Arthur Matthews and Graham Lineham long before their Father Ted days.

Count Dankula who literally cannot get a job anywhere else has had his first stand-up gig.
Good turnout and not a bad first showing at all. The guy is genuinely funny, just needs a bit more confidence. He's certainly got the fanbase to make a go of it.

I watched a new Jimmy Carr special on Netflix the other night. Some of his stuff is piss funny. I do like the contrast between his appearance, his delivery and demeanor, and what he actually says.
-
@mariner4life I find him either hilarious or fucking annoying AF and wanting to punch him (probably about 30/70 respectively)

I'm like that with lots of comedians - some days I really like Bill Burr and other days his ranting style does my head in.
I think Russell Peters is one of my favourite of the Netflix comedians (the ones with specials) at the moment.

The thing that annoys me is that his ability to setup a joke is absolutely fantastic. But when I've seen him live, he doesn't tend to do it as much. Just likes to drop offensive one liners.
It's filtered here at work, but the bit about Racks Mum is sensational.

Watched Kevin Hart's latest 'Irresponsible' the other night. The wife is a fan of his but I've never really found him all that funny. This was excellent though, had me laughing out loud a lot - plenty of very relatable stuff for parents in there. Also hasn't gone all PC following the Oscars bullshit which is good to see.

Just watched this now, pissed myself in several parts.
His wife's porn watching was fucking classic.
