Latest season of Black Mirror
Very meh
Really ? I think it's been ok. I lasted an entire episode starring Miley Cyrus then another one of two old mates having cyber sex instead of playing a fighting game.
I took one look at the trailer and immediately said "I bet those two are bumming each other online". Not on my list of things to watch.
Well at least the characters were a dude and a chick so no bumming on screen which was appreciated.

Finished 'Black Summer'
I enjoyed it. Some great tension building segments and the zombies are actually super dangerous unlike TWD walkers. People weren't too hot with headshots but I'd say your average civilian, tired, terrified and running on adrenaline is never going to shoot where they want.

This show looked great on paper and I do love a good post apocalyptic story but I gave up to be honest. Maybe TWD has ruined me? Irritating characters who I didnโt care for doing dumb stuff and those kids at the school were the biggest pack of fluffybunnies I ever recall seeing on screen.
First episode was sensational but went downhill at a rapid rate.

I'm going to start a show called Warrior, looks like Gangs of New York set in Chinatown, and is made by the same dudes who did Banshee. What's not to like?
-
@mariner4life I have that but not started, is supposedly based on the writings of Bruce Lee??

For Aussie based Ferners, this starts showing on Foxtel tonight. I've already got it series linked and quite excited as it certainly looks good and from past posts you may recognize that I may or may not have a slight streak of yellow fever

@RoninWC you can also watch a heap of it on Foxtel On Demand already as well
Thanks @mariner4life , I didn't know it was available to stream already and was relying on the old tech of series linking to record each broadcast which will be weekly.
Now I can binge... Woo Hoo!

same with Chernobyl (which i am only just starting)

yeah alot of content is being offered as a normal weekly episode, but some are releasing the entire series on demand. at the same time for people to binge
I just started S2 of Deep State, which is your MI6/CIA/FBI in te middle east conspiracy thriller type thing.
Mark Strong was lead in S1, Walter Goggins in on S2, not a must watch, but I like it.

I found it a bit more difficult to get into than S1, but it does get a bit more heated as to goes along. Worth sticking with.

@taniwharugby yeah season 1 had a few holes but was a good watch. Even better if s2 has Goggins, count me in. Cheers for the heads up.

It aired last night at 9:30 but I was checking on Foxtel On Demand and there was no trace of it.
Looks like you now have to watch, week by week for episodes to air which sucks.

yep, didn't realise Fox 8 (red flag!!!) and for all their ad said watch on demand, they obviously don't mean it.
First episode delightfully trashy. Asian boobs all over the shop. Couple of pretty good fights. Will continue to watch for now. It's not quality though.

Caught it last night. Not bad at all. Has the camp Asian dude from Banshee. Plenty of nudity.
