Fuck me that last pass was forward. What a joke.
I thought so the first time - but looked OK on replay and right in front fo the TJ and ref. Sad for Counties, but can't complain about that
They needed to check it though. The AR was in front of the play so in a poor position to judge.

It’s a cruel game ..congratulations to wellington but you have got to feel for CM,thought they showed some real heart given how much they had to defend..
What frustrates me about officiating, CM had the dominant scrum throughout the game but were never rewarded by referee at any stage for that dominance when on a different day another referee will see it in a different light.. -
As a Canes fan I really like the look of the Counties number 9. Happy with his signing and he will learn alot from TJ.

@Canes4life I completely agree has been rubbish this year which is a shame the guy trains the house down but think Father Time has caught up with him

@Canes4life As a staunch Lions fan CM deserved that game we were rubbish really flat JGB was utterly garbage I was wanting Renata to come on merely to try something different the long passes were hopeless...as a Canes fan I’m very worried.

Good but messy deserved win for the Lions. Converting their possession was hard work. Mixture of strong Counties defence and some cynical play.
Really don't see the issue with the last try. Good call from the ref and laughable to say they should go upstairs to check.

@Higgins and look at to Owen Franks now? the game is evolving so along with core roles, props need mobility,speed,covering/sweeping like a loose fwd and the way the game is heading the "high intensity/fast pace", you need to keep up and do more then just "scrum". And remember the Lions front row are young Fidow 21, Aumua 21, Numia 20. still boys and still developing. and re them being boys getting paid a mans wages?? mate the game turned professional a long time ago. keep up with the times higgy! they are the most exciting front row in the game right now. Lions/Canes are lucky to have them and i am excited to see them grow and develop. cut them some slack
