Well I despise both those people but $100k is pretty cheap considering the positive tourism coverage in the states that will come from it. Come on in champagne socialists spend your dollars..maybe have a chat to some locals about how they really feel about our stunning and brave leader.

Putting aside my concerns about the extra strain on our infrastructure I think the last we needs is an influx of cucks from the states . We have more than enough of our own and some of the visitors might stay.

Chloe Swarbrick made mention of enthusiastically and vociferously chanting alongside "tens of thousands" of students in Auckland during the climate change strike on the radio news earlier today. Presumably she was on unpaid leave as I doubt her job description would include provision for anything like that during paid work hours.

She seems like she could be a useful person if her politics weren't so backward. What a shame.

Yeah I heard them trotting out that line on the news earlier. It’s bullshit of course. I’m willing to bet she discussed the plan to invest $100k in order to generate additional tourism with precisely zero marketing or tourism professionals before inviting Colbert on the spur of the moment. Anybody who spends a hundred grand on marketing on a whim, without asking someone qualified whether it is the most efficient use of their marketing spend, is an idiot who will inevitably drive their business into the wall.
Of course none of what I just said is true if it’s other people’s money you’re pissing away. You just go and take some more I guess.

Interesting to see if they can grab the votes off greenies who vote for the Greens in spite of disliking their other policies. Perhaps they can be the missing piece to help get the Nats back in?
