Finished S1 of Fauda, that follows an Israeli Special Forces operative in Palestine as they hunt a terrorist.
Is decent enough, obviously mostly sub-titled.
I reckon it’s more than decent TBH.
-
BBC4- The secrets of quantum physics.
On episode 2 so far, man this is so soooothing to watch.

His Dark Materials
Did anyone watch episode 1?Yes.
Good start.
Lot going on.

Finished Dublin MUrders.
Largely a decent series, with decent acting and a decent story but they kinda gets lost and miss the target particularly about the historical case that underlined the series, although guess it leaves it open for a 2nd series?
Started S2 of Jack Ryan, seems to be a bit faster pace than S1, but is what I expected, and I like.
ANyone bothered with Batwoman? Seems to be being slated by almost everyone, and the trailers I watched, it looks shitter than shit...
-
@taniwharugby shit, meant to jump on when we finished it last week and warn to not both starting or completing it. What a load of shit, but should have guessed towards the middle when they started throwing in random insignificant stuff just to stretch it out.

The End Of The F***ing World on netflix is worth a watch if you like dark comedy.
Watched it all in one sitting which is unusual for me.
Something really watchable about it despite the subject matter.
A kind of modern, Brit, Catcher in the Rye -

@Crucial S2 I assume?
Did you watch Wayne? Similar vein, but better IMO
Yeah, S2. Haven’t seen Wayne, will look it up.
Liked that one about the woman that returned back to her town after prison for killing her friend. Can’t think of the title. -

A kind of modern, Brit, Catcher in the RyeI have this in my list but now I'm less keen to watch since you've linked it to that overrated garbage.

Really enjoying The Morning Show

CANNOT WAIT!
Do you guys get this? -
@R-L I hope not....

@R-L Celebrity? I don't recognise a single one.

Exactly. Should be titled 'I'm a D-Lister desperately trying to raise my profile'
I have to say though, Brits get really obsessed with 'celebrities'. Seeing one in the street is a big topic for conversation yet the funniest thing is that the brit 'politeness' kicks in and the 'celebs' can go about their business without much hassle.
I had a workmate come to work one morning all excited because he saw someone who used to play a bit part in a series of Doctor Who in the street. Weird thing was that everyone knew who he was talking about and agreed that it was exciting.
When I commented that Doctor Who himself (the Capaldi) version was waiting to board a plane at Wellington Airport with a group of us on a work trip they all creamed themselves.Odd people.

That's the magic of it, they are all has beens but then cause scandal and embarrass themselves further and then come out of the show with TV deals left right and centre. Occasionally one blows everyone away and becomes the series sweetheart. My moneys on Brucey Jenner being a right diva and turning hulk.

@R-L seems a male-dominated show...6/4 split....
