I'm the last person to like Trump, but jeez, the Democrats are in real bad way, aren't they?
I’ve never been a fan of arch-conservative commentator (and an original Never-Trumper, who has since softened his disdain) Erik Erickson, but I did like his comment that Trump’s real super-power is his ability to make his enemies behave in all the awful ways that they are forever accusing him. He’s right. It’s been a three-year exercise in projection.

@Tim Carville has been going apeshit this week, justifiably.
“We’re losing our damn minds”: James Carville unloads on the Democratic Party
Why the longtime Democratic strategist is “scared to death” of the 2020 election.

We have candidates on the debate stage talking about open borders and decriminalizing illegal immigration. They’re talking about doing away with nuclear energy and fracking. You’ve got Bernie Sanders talking about letting criminals and terrorists vote from jail cells. It doesn’t matter what you think about any of that, or if there are good arguments — talking about that is not how you win a national election. It’s not how you become a majoritarian party.

Sounds like the Labour Party in the UK - just more bonkers and weirder.
Don't the Left want to win elections anymore?

Must be extra-exasperating for activist news media who’ve used the Kitchen Sink strategy, and then see this:
-
@Salacious-Crumb as someone who was no fan of Obama's presidency, I have to ask how that's possible.
-
Echo Chamber. All the negative media stuff is directed at people that already don't like him, and hasn't changed anybody's mind.
And the Democrats haven't tried to get the undecideds or people in the centre and called everybody that disagrees with them deplorable or racist.
-
"Facebook and Twitter have rejected a request by Speaker Nancy Pelosi to remove a video posted by President Trump that was edited to make it appear as though she were ripping a copy of his State of the Union address as he honored a Tuskegee airman and other guests."
No doubt Nancy Pelosi felt a frission of virtue when she ripped up Trump's SOTU speech on camera - the thought that it might be a bad look on national TV or become a viral video obviously didn't figure.
How inept are these people?

Economy was on a similar upward trajectory for both.

“Lying, dog-faced pony soldier.”
Crickets from the news media.
If it had’ve been a GOP candidate calling a female voter that to her face, my guess is the media would be hyperventilating it into a 24-hour news cycle. But it’s Joe, so nothing to report.

I’m not sure about the pony soldier bit but @Smudge will agree the dog faced bit rings a bell . I wonder if Joe has a relative living in Turkey that used to post here?

NBC's hypocrisy is well established. Surely no one is surprised?

Trump just RTed a Larry David/Curb Your Enthusiasm clip that features almost a dozen uncensored f-bombs, including one MFer and a couple shits. It’ll give some people fainting spells. Deplorable and hilarious.
Edit: He didn’t retweet it. He actually tweeted it, as the source. It’s funny to imagine him grabbing an AVI rip and throwing it into Premiere and cutting it himself, but somebody had to get that onto his account. It’s beautiful. Makes it even funnier.

Swiss machines 'used to spy on governments for decades'
I don't know why anyone would trust the Swiss. I once had sex with a Swiss girl and there's no way my level of effort justified her performance.

New Hampshire primary results flowing in and it looks like neither Biden nor Warren will secure enough votes to receive delegates.

Looks like Yang is dropping out too
-
Which one of Warren or Biden is going to drop out next after New Hampshire? Warrens campaign is going to studied as a cautionary tale by future campaigns.
Saying things like trans women of colour are the backbone of your democracy is going to lose way , way more votes than it will bring in for example. -
