Miss Crazed is too short to back at $1.80 in R3 at Invercargill (Ascot Park) today. Mobile start helps but not the draw on the inside of the second line. If she trots throughout and gets any gaps, she wins.
As an aside, does anyone want to get in on an out-of-form trotter a few of us are looking to buy? $400 or so will get you 10% (plus ongoing weekly costs of, say, $35/wk).
She's a talented type but probably needs a change of scenery so we'll probably send her to a beach trainer.
Miss Crazed pissed in, winning by about 5L untouched. If she stays sound, she'll win 6-7 at least.

"Well done on the win, Smudge."
"Really pleased for you, Smudge!"
Oh I'm sorry, guys, that my horse isn't a pretty grey one going around at Flemington for Chris Waller. I won't mention ANY of you in my speech when she wins the Trotting Oaks later this year (if they even hold it).

Never been to India ay?
Actually I don't follow it either and haven't for years. I think I might have a night at Alex Park very soon. I will be expecting all of the tips from Smudge after my kind comments too.

That made me laugh while I was on a conference call. I actually read that on the weekend while waiting in line at supermarket and was stoked for you. Then it was my turn to be served and that's all she wrote.
Nice to have a dominating win mate. Please don't stop with your updates!!!

@Smudge you're so high maintenance
You can win me over with a pearl necklace.
Wait, let me rephrase that.

@Smudge hosed them!
Matty didn't turn the stick and the earplugs stayed in. She had a whole heap in reserve.

Was that her first start?? You spoke of the oaks, is she rising three?

Third start. Broke twice the first time from a stand & finished 8th. Broke at the start and lost 50m in start 2 but made up a stack of ground to run 2nd.
She's 3 but HRNZ have put back a lot of the 2&3yr old features into the new season so while her and her peers will technically be 4, that similar bunch of horses will be running in the Derbies/Oaks etc. Many of the harness features are in late March through to late May, so they all went west during Covid.
