@Nepia nothing worse than starting to watch something and you see someone and you start wondering who they are or what else you seen them on, and you are too lazy to check, you spend half the time trying to work it out haha
I did that last night in something, but only cos I thought an actor looked like another actor, and I couldnt recall the actor who he looked similar too's name
Better than back in the pre internet days when you'd argue with your mates about someones name or movie they were in and you couldn't figure it out until you went to a library.

@Nepia nope, Travis Fimmel
Looks like a largely no-name cast apart from Ragnar. He's in less than half the episodes too.

@Bovidae Vikings cast was pretty much nobodies when it started...Fimmel & Winnick are the obvious success stories from it. I did watch something recently with Bjorn in it too, Deathstroke I think it was?
Yeah I think Bjorn will have a decent career, and Skarsgaard.
They did have 'biggish' name guest stars early on like Gabriel Byrne.

@taniwharugby said in TV Serieseseses:
@Nepia Donal Logue too
Yeah, he was the other one I was thinking of but going by the theme of the day I couldn't remember his name.
His wife on the show was a fairly big US tv actor too.

I actually haven't seen or am not a fan of many of those comedy series nominated, which is weird as I usually have seen most of the nominations.I have only seen one of the shows up for an Emmy (across all the Categories) Life gets in the way of TV watching

I am watching a very high quality Netflix series called The World's Most Wanted.

Started Last Chance U S4 (i think) last night.
Man, what a change.
We've moved out of the South, and in to Oakland
We have a coach that isn't a complete asshole, who actually seems to know what he is doing, and seems to care more about the players than himself.
We have players that aren't selfish assholes. Players working jobs, attending school, and playing football, happy to be there. Not selfish, entitled assholes given everything they need, and focusing on nothing more than getting out as soon as possible.
Maybe that won't make it as interesting down the stretch.

FInished S2 of The ALienist.
Solid series, not as good as the first one, ended like they wont be doing a S3, but also in a way that they may revisit in a few years.

Where did you watch this? It still hasn't popped up on my Netflix.

So I finished Watchmen, thought it was a great series. Wobbled a bit on the ending but regained balance just before the ending.
I'm actually disappointed it's a one and done, although I'm kind of hoping another show runner picks it up as an anthology series.

@Nepia watched it too and really enjoyed it, didn't know it was a one off series
havent ready the whole thread, Umbrella Academy anyone?
Damon Lindelof has said he wont make another series but he wouldn't mind someone else doing one.
I've just started S2 of Umbrella Academy after enjoying S1.
