Right, so, yeah...
Overall - a bit of a disappointment. 20 years of abstinence has grown expectations/memories to an unrealistic level, I'd say.
Chips w/ seasoning - certainly not as good as I remember.
But the "Wicked Wings" - yeah, they're a bit of al'right. Were you drunk? You really need to repeat the experience when drunk to give a proper rating.

Ah, yeah, true. I foolishly performed this experiment on one of the very, very few days I hadn't chopped several beers by this time.

Wicked Wings are good 24 hours a day. Sober, pissed, it doesn't matter.

-
So, about that diet of yours. How's it going?

I'd rather eat the packaging than the chicken from KFC.
Should be sued for misrepresentation. Always smells so good and tastes shit.
Seldom eat it - only if had a few and its the only thing open and always regret it within an hour of eating it. The grease does dreadful things to my gut - internally and externally.

I had such fond memories of it. But on getting 2 pieces of "original chicken" - I managed my way through 1, and that was a struggle. (Mostly due to very poor tactical decision of scoffing down chips with gravy, even after deciding they were shit)

It's a dilemma. It's shit, we know it's shit but ...

Eat shit I guess. No way around it.
Not drinking could help, but that isn't very likely either.

@voodoo What's the contact tracing like in WA/Australia? Going into lockdown with only one case in the community seems over-the-top, unless they have contact tracing issues and expect community transmission.
Can't speak for WA, its like a different country. But NSW got on top of the recent outbreak here over Xmas with a decent job of tracing. That peaked at
c. 20 cases in a day IIRC, with 150 total cases, so much higher. And it was gone in 2 weeks.**That said, I reckon people are now VERY lax about scanning
**
WA is a strange place, a country unto itself. Maybe they already know this guy was super active, or maybe its a massive overeaction. I'm guessing the latter.I haven't come across this on this side of the Harbour, scanning is still happening in all cafes, restaurants, bars etc etc. Although I did notice that outdoor markets codes are not so prominent after the easing of restrictions over the weekend.
Just ducked up to my local Stocklands to grab some stuff for dinner. Thought I'd spend 5 minutes testing my assertion.
I just watched 15 people in a row go into Coles without scanning . In fact, I haven't yet seen a single person.
And its hardly a surprise its not front of mind anymore, I mean look at the placement at the entrance:

@mariner4life said in Coronavirus - Australia:
@voodoo i can honestly say i have never scanned at Coles. I didn't even know i was supposed to?
Well there you go! There used to be big signs at this Coles, along with staff at the entrance making sure you did sign in. They've ditched the staff and shrunk the sign to 10% of its size 🤷♂️

no i don't think that's accurate when you compare the check-in procedures in other parts of daily life
