Fat busting/Ab circle
That is a fair swing mate!! you must do some epic shits lol!! that ad on tv about hydration with the AB's shows between 1-2kg being lost after a hard out training session. Interesting that your scales show that much variance... are you weighing yourself in the same clothes etc?
I know mate it's not normal at all. I shit you not though as recently as yesterday I woke up 105kg by the time I was in bed I was 101.8kg. Always in boxer shorts. As far as craps go I don't have any basis for comparison lol. Though I did once walk into a stall and was confronted with a log the size of my arm(oh how I wish I was joking) and Im not dropping that everyday.

It's not a consistent weight gain or loss, every now and then. -
Amazing what some folk can produce! moving on!... seems hard to find/afford scales that give the same weight reading. Seems like every set you check out at Briscoes/Ware Whare/Farmers all give you diff readings, even when you tune them in a bit. Also happens at my gym. There are two scales that have 2-3 kg difference in readings. Not a huge amount, but with my gym subscription I want some supa-medical mofo scales!

I've been told you should weigh yourself in the morning in as little clothing as you are comfortable in. Weigh yourself at the same time, and in the same 'outift' each day. Consistency in measurement or something similar. -
Drop into the nearest Jenny Craig - we got our scales from there when the Mrs was JC'ing. They are on the money with our trainers scales too, which is great.

Just weigh yourself on the same scales every time, at the same time of day. But daioly you are wasting your time - a weeky readin is what you need. Daily - water retention etc all play a part. Have a big fatty salty meal, and you will hold onto your water, eat a bucket of salad with no dressing, and you won't be retaining etc. SO to get real readings, you would need to be eating the same fod etc too!!! -
Hard work,instant reward!

Went for a run along the hutt river late yesterday. dropped the car at lower hutt and ran up river to taita. Its all low impact pavement running but a fair hike. Best part is the end. Took an inner tube and a pump in my pack, a little bit to lug but thats all part of it. Pumped up the inner tube jumped in the river and floated lazily back yo my car! How cool is that? Just don't fall asleep!

mapped out the run for those interested.

edit: as with my last mapped run it only allows me to map streets, all of my run was on the stop bank above the river. great scenery so far from a boring run. -
My bro and I used to do it years ago when we trained together. When he buggered off to Ing-a-land I just stopped doing it.

Was sitting there watching the young fulla with his floaties on in the pool and it just hit me.

Will be a regular thing again for sure. -
It's a shame you timed it for the end of Summer! Sounds like a cracking reward for a hard/long run
I thought the same thing as soon as I got back to my car. Im hoping for a typical late wellington summer though, as I'm yet to see it... -
fuck year - a couple of bottle of beer too - now that would be prefrect. Maybe you need a running partner. One to carry the beers, and one for the tubes and pumps!
As much as I like the sound of that finding my self at Matiu Somes Island is what would likely happen. Im a light weight after exercise. Jeez I likely end up one of those stupid Darwin Awards tards. -
Spoke to a few guys Im playing rugby with this season about coming on the run with me. Last night we came up with 7 guys on a shorter run to accommodate the fatties. This morning I got emails from all over the show and now its up to 13 guys and 3 of them aren't even in the team.

Jeez if it was a more scenic run in some rougher terrain I could charge bloody prices.... -
Been awhile. I've gotten right back into trail running and as lick would have it I live basically at the foot of a handy track in J-ville.

Still off the carbs but basically a pussy compared to Bartman. Have gone an entire month of eating breakfast, which has always been a hard thing for me. Pretty much doing the Ab thing 3 times a day and have the makings of a 4 pack(the other two are on lay-a-way). LOwest weight in god knows how long: 95kg. I'd aimed for about that but I reckon 90 will be better.

Its not so much of a big thing now, losing the weight. It's like Im back at college and my metabolism is powering through the food. -
yeah Raz - Deano Bravo (my mate Deano) is now being traned by my trainer too (he came to the dark side, we have treat meals)! Anyway, he is now eating more than he was, and losing weight. Got to kiick start yourself again - and the older we get, the harder!!

Gotta say i have become a huge fan of the warm steak salad! I pretty much go through a family size by myself now. -
Six boys from back in the day and 100m of track! I was a sprinter and so were my best mates. Now we are all guys who say they were sprinters but look like we are shot putters.

We are all still very competitive - whos son is the biggest, best car, hottest wife... etc - but nothing tangible to gloat with, no trophy with a plaque on it saying "champion" (tattoos on trophy wives don't count) so my mate JD came up with a ground breaking idea....wait for it....old guys running 100m and see who wins. The first sentence likely gave that away.

But we are taking it serious. Real sprint training and goal weights. Just did my first session of ladder work...its been too long and coordination is shot. But it was fun. For the most part we'll actually try to train together, but no practice races other than 40m.

Race is set for september! I will try to get the guys to let me chuck photos up.

WINNER gets a 3 foot trophy wording on plaque is yet to be determined. Rest assured Razbra will be on there somewhere! -
that sound awsome! you need a local butcher to sponsor it or something - tough meat 100m or similar!! Pics would be awesome - if you could get the other lads onto the fern that would be primo too

Mate these guys struggle with digital cameras and facebook I have told most of them many times about TSF and they just laugh at me.
