Longer highlights clip (referee channel, without commentary):
I'm a big fan of no commentary footage and I wish it was an option for all games regardless of the telecaster.
You should upgrade your telly mate. I did a few years back, and now my set has this wicked function called "mute". Apparently I can even activate it with the remote, but I haven't figured that part out yet.
Good things take time.

@voodoo smart arse 🤣
I like having the crowd noise. That was a red button option on foxtel years ago.
You should have recorded the fake fan noise that they used during lockdown to play while watching matches. No need to have it synched to whats happening on the field as the broadcasters certainly didn't bother about it.

@Tordah a lot gets made of Dave Rennie's overall record but his Wallabies side have lost 5 games by 2 points or less.
They've also had to play us like 9 times.
I think they are a bit better than their record suggests. To lose by 5 games by 2 points or less is bad luck or maybe shows an inability to close a game out?
Either view possible I guess.
But 1 point victory over Scotland?

@nostrildamus No such thing as bad luck when you smash Argentina one week then get humped by them similarly the next.
Look at the win we had against the Boks: absolutely belting them and then let in 2 late tries. Consistency is our problem, not luck. Game management as well i.e. pissing away a win against the ABs through Foley's idiocy.
The England results sort of don't count for margin because England don't have any ambition beyond "win by 1". The manner of the victories is the thing, and we got beat up, effectively, so the margin is irrelevant.

I hear you. Maybe being all over the shop is actually an advantage at the RWC though.

Jacob letting the breakdown devolve a little
As a neutral who just watched first half the score flattered France. From first scrum where Baille got airbourne to at least near the end Wallaby tight five shaded French.
Backs also sharp.
Bad Foley miss at 13-6.
French made most of broken play which happened in last ten of half, and Jaco missed a couple of knock ons which would have stopped French gaining some easy metres.

I know I posted this already, but I was seriously impressed by the Stade de France. They have turned the whole experience into a sound and light event. You can switch from rugby to entertainment at the drop of a hat. If France win the 2023 RWC, there will just be a protracted dance party at the venue after the game. The lighting and sound is top rate, plenty of beer stands, no obstructed views in the stadium. For Fra vs Aussie in the weekend I think I paid about €50 for a ticket. It's real pity the stadium is in the shitty outlying suburbs of Paris and not in the centre, that would have made it even better.

Holloway is the player who has really stood up this year with his physicality . Fainga'a has a habit of missing key lineout throws.
The try on HT was the real killer blow.
I think there was a knock on by Fickou.
