Without trying to pick on the guy, Segner made 27 tackles! People will wank on about it like it's some mammoth effort, but for me , as the prime ball winner out there, he's making way too many tackles. He simply dies not attack the ball at breakdown time. It's fine if we had others out there who are specialists at winning ball, but we don't, and the Brumbies did well taking him out of the game. He's well behind Papali'i and Choat for me when they're fit.

Pole freezing on the big stage well before his time

Must be a more experienced hooker they can bring in.

Riccitelli should have played 80 unless he was injured.

He just seems like another Tom Christie. Makes tackle after tackle but doesn’t do much else.

Christie isn't a test level 7 but he's better that Segner or at least was in his pomp

Blues seem to be really missing Ioane and Paps/Choat.

Mostly Ioane. Blues are making the tackles but he was the guy that would kill the oppositions momentum

Given it's top 6 this year instead of top 8 I think you can start putting a line through the Blues

I feel like his leadership is missed out there too.

    Hate it when I'm right.

Who turned the Blues into their mid-2010s selves?

    Awful.

    We sucked

No line out or scrum. Poor ruck control. Bad kicking. Give up that and the Brumbies win every time

Just watched. Christie and Beehre were impressive. Lam good too and Rieko much more prominent. Shame about the godlkicking as BB looked threatening with ball in hand.
Brumbies will be a threat when they get Valetini and Lolesio back. But Scott and Meredith were very very good tonight.
