At last some good new, albeit against a team that is selected from players that are not wanted by either Wellington Lions, Wellington Development or Wellington Under 19s and possibly a few other rep teams as well. Still they do have a good number of capable players to pick from. I hear Wgtn Samoans did manage to beat the Bay Samoans a week or so ago. Can you confirm anything about that please Stargazer?0

Yes, Wellington Samoans beat Bay Samoans 40-24 last Saturday.
HB Samoans will play Horowhenua-Kapiti Samoans on Saturday, 24 September.

    More results:

The U19s beat the Hurricanes Barbarians U19 76-0.
Because they lost to both Wellington and Manawatu, they will play in the bottom half of the Jock Hobbs Memorial Tournament, where they'll first play Southland on Wednesday.

The U18 girls lost 64-7 to the Wellington U18 girls.

    The U16 "A" boys beat Wellington U16 "A" 32-22.
The U16 Development team lost to Wellington U16 Dev 60-5.

I couldn't find the result of the U14s.

Bit of a mixed bag this weekend, but at least not all teams lost.

That's correct. The Wellington Samoa team competes in the Hurricanes Development competition, while the Hawke's Bay, Manawatu, Horowhenua-Kapiti and Wanganui Samoa teams take part in the Central Region High Commission competition. The next game is the first competition game.

    Round 1:
    24/9, Horowhenua-Kapiti Samoans v HB Samoans
25/9, Manawatu Samoans v Wanganui Samoans (Levin Domain)

    Round 2:
1/10, Whanganui Samoans v HB Samoans
    1/10, Manawatu Samoans v Horowhenua-Kapiti Samoans (Marton)

    Round 3:
8/10, HB Samoans v Manawatu Samoans (Hastings)
    8/10, Horowhenua-Kapiti Samoans v Whanganui Samoans

15/10, Finals (Bill Brown Park, Palmerston north)

The Magpies may end up being our shittiest rep team, because:

The Saracens beat Wellington 44 -34. That win was good for the overall win of the Hurricanes Development XV title.
The U14s beat Manawatu 47 to 13; they have won all their four games of the season.

Both Bay teams finished 3rd in their division at the Hurricanes U16 Tournament.

In division A, the HB U16 team beat Poverty Bay 33-0.
HB U16 Dev defeated Wairarapa Bush 22 to 7 in division B.

Wellington won both divisions with their A team and their Dev team.

The HB Saracens suffered a big loss in their last game of the year to Canterbury Dev: 15-43 (HT: 10-17). Apparently, Canterbury scored 4 tries in the last 20 minutes. Saracens halfback Karl Hewitt tore his biceps at the beginning of the game and was due for surgery tonight.

As far as I know, all official rep teams have now played all their games for the season.
Only the HB Samoa team (not part of the HBRU) still have games to play.
