    That's not bold, it's reality.

Hunt and Lomax carried that club for years and their idiot fans ran one of them out of town.

Suck shit St George and suck runny shit Flanagan

@mariner4life Someone tell that to that fluffybunny Mad Dragon. He'd rather get a wooden spoon than have Ben Hunt in his side lol.

He does those stupid game day videos on YouTube and Instagram.

Despite the loss, I was impressed with the Tigers. They just got completely blitzed by the Broncs either side of halftime. The Broncs going back to their 2023 form . I thought Madge was done at NRL level a few seasons ago, but his hard nosed approach is just what this Broncos side needed after they lost their way under Kevvie.

The Titans however, man they are either shit hot or just completely shit, as they showed against an out of form Dolphins side who barely got out of 3rd gear. You just don't know what you'll get from them.

    funny old week.

Raiders beat the Sharkies with a worldy of a final try.
The Panthers go from bad to worse and lose to the Cowboys, including an all-time bombed try
The Rabbits were all over the Roosters but couldn't find the points, eventually getting up,
Eels win! St George fans in a shambles.
The bipolar Titans get rolled by the previously friendless Dolphins.
The Broncos beat the Tigers but the scoreline flattered them somewhat.
Manly flirted with elimination from the comp, but scored 3 late ones to pull teh deficit back to only 24.
The Knights who aren't Ponga suck, and every other team knows it.

    Way too early reads:

Dogs 5 from 5 and without most of their big names. Great defense, clunky offence. Should make top 4 from here
Broncos have a bit of steel to go with their talent. Genuine premiership threat.
Storm will win the comp if they stay fit.
Warriors top 4 baby!! close the season.
Rabbits. Wayne fucking Bennett man. how does he do it?
There are clearly two very different Manly sides, who knows who turns up week to week?
Raiders are building nicely. Might not do much this year, but they could next year.
Titans are 2 and 2, which perfectly encapsulates their character. Losing Kini killing them
Knights will go as far as Ponga can drag them
Sharks can't beat good teams, do not trust.
Tigers won't get the spoon. Need to get some wins though
Dragons are old and shit. They'll jag wins when teams are off, but they are genuine bottom 4 quality.
Cowboys are, actually who knows. Clifford plays they are much better. Which Drinkwater plays each week?
Dolphins fucking needed that, maybe things start to click. Too much talent to be where they are.
Penrith need Edwards back like yesterday. Injuries and defections have finally caught up.
Roosters were overrated in the preseason, this is what they are now.
Parra won a game! It hurt to see the immediate impact that Walker had.

I think this is the year Penrith don't win the comp. Still have them in the finals but all those departures and injuries have finally caught up.

Storm's comp to lose followed by the Broncos.

Bulldogs should make the top 4. Best defensive side in the comp.

Roosters are shit and the Chad should be dropped.

Never trust the Titans, even the Wahs are more reliable.

    Dragons are now Dad's army

While the Knights are definition of a 1 man team.

Eels won a game but still don't see much in them.

Dolphins with a win also, potential turning point in their season. I personally hope so as I had them in my 8 in pre season.

Cowboys unsure on still but agree with Mariner look a lot better since Clifford has come in.

Interesting week, was easier to pick the winner of the doncaster mile than it was a hd to hd winner in the NRL on Saturday

NRL related, but @Nepia might have to get used to the kiwis being the bottom of the pile of local International teams for another generation or so.

With Samoa and Tonga being "tier 2" nations, current Origin rules mean you are free to play for them without jeopardising your extremely lucrative State of Origin eligibility. NZ on the other hand is Tier 1 and so the exemption does not exist.

In the last week i have read reports that guys the caliber of Payne Haas and the Hammer are looking at playing for Samoa. With your average kiwi squad decreasing in quality every year, and the Island teams getting stronger, it doesn't look great.

The stupid thing is the Tiers don't mean anything any way, because all of the players are developed in Australia. Even the guys that come through the Warriors are really developed by playing in NSW Cup before they get to Grade. It's not like the Bartercard cup is our breeding ground.

If anything maybe this could be the starting point of removing tiers, essentially we all knew that most places outside of Qld were included in Qld origin..they can now formalise it 🙂

If they do remove it, potentially it could become an all stars event though, even if they keep the states

New Zealand Warriors provide official update on injured quartet

The New Zealand Warriors have provided an official update on the status of four injured players ahead of their Round 6 clash against the Melbourne Storm. Competing away from home in Melbourne on Sunday, outside back Rocco Berry (shoulder) has been cleared to return to the field after being a late...

@canefan heard he’s signed back at the crusaders for 2026.
Sounds like Warriors announcing a signing soon as well. Joey Manu maybe. Definitely not Kalyn Ponga.

The Eels with a Pyrrhic victory on the weekend as it's cost them Lomax for an extended sit on the sidelines. Imagine being a coach?

that was my guess to be honest, especially if Roosters pick up DCE, their sombrero will be less

still hope more than anything though

If SMH is accurate Manu wont be at the Warriors either, likely Sydney club

Thought Manu would stay loyal to the Roosters. He has also been talking about his dream of being an All Black.

I think he's playing well funnily enough, Talagi however is a massive handbrake on the Panthers attack. The amount of times Cleary creates the space for overlaps only for Talagi to refuse to let the ball go must be infuriating. I think they'll get there, but that whole left edge of Penrith are just taking a bit of time getting used to their systems on attack and defence as it's a whole new edge with 3 youngsters there. Izack Tago has also had a shocking start to the season. There's no excuse for how poor ther right edge has been, and Tago, especially on defence has been one of the main offenders.

The Dolphins, however, are starting to warm into their work. Hammer looks back to his best, Saifiti could be pushing for an origin recall, and Max Plath is also pushing hard for his first Origin callup. Averillo had a field day against an inexperienced Panthers edge.
