I haven't been watching Jordie up north where by all accounts he's been good (in what positions?), but I haven't seen much of him creating space for others in the last couple of seasons.

When has he ever done this???

The Irish are calling Jodie Barrett "Rugby's cheat code." (From 04:27 below)

@Bones And offloads. Again. Nothing new, but the double offload is clever.

I don't think he's doing anything new but the Leinster coaching staff are using him really effectively.

The Irish, like many in the NH, always exaggerate and get over excited. The real test will be in the final against Toulouse. Being part of what is effectively an international team against a club team and steam rolling them isn’t much to get excited about

    @KiwiInLondon

    I partially agree.

Jordie is looking so good because he is part of a dominant and extremely well-coached Leinster team. Easily the best in the URC and, as you say, Toulouse are probably their only really challenger in the European Cup.

But these is no denying as part of a high-quality rotated midfield, he's looking extremely sharp.

What is the Right Wing depth chart after Mark Telea goes offshore?

Will Jordan, Sevu Reece, Chay Fihaki, Macca Springer, Dallas McLeod.

In all seriousness. Below would be my order for the 14 jersey. It’s quite a short list when you think about what quality 14’s are actually out there.

    1. Jordan(If BB is 15).
    2. Tangitau/Reece
    3. Tangitau/Reece
    4. Narawa

    I wouldn’t mind seeing Lam(yes he’s been playing 12 but still a good winger)or ENS(when fit) get a crack.

Unfortunately I think Razor will see Fihaki ahead of Lam, ENS, Narawa and potentially Tangitau.

Would be an injustice if they didn't give Tangitau a chance.

For all of the criticism that comes Rieko Ioane's way, he sure as hell covers a lot of ground on defence. Yeah, I see the criticisms with him on attack and yes, probably attacks better on the wing, but he's an elite defender.

He does work hard on defence I agree, but his decision making in complex scenarios isn't elite - I think his scramble is right up there, tho

As has been pointed out, using him as a constant crash ball option also doesn't suit him.

Doesn't Jordie or Havili or ALB, but the ABs have been doing it for years - you'd kinda have hoped Razor might have changed that.

    He's not Levi Aumua.

Neither is Levi Aumua, this year!

    Good post.

RI's D has come on in leaps and bounds and last year he put in some outstanding stuff. But apart from that, he hasn't really kicked on and we really need to explore options at 13. Robertson needs to be a bit bolder.

Or develop a gameplan that permits Rieko to use his undoubted strengths. At the moment they may as well play another flanker. Using your centre to do almost nothing on attack but crashball off pop passes on the defensive line is fucking dumb.

This may be the masterplan - Robertson is struggling to fit all his 6.5s into one loose trio, but he sees an opportunity at centre.

    6 Papalii, 7 Blackadder, 8 Jacobsen. Easy.

Impact in a game is overrated

Jordie Barrett and RG Snyman have added seismic strength and skill to the province, and could be the key ingredients of their Champions Cup quest.

Nah, too big to make the ABs as a loose forward.

I don't remember any Tarzans playing on the wing for the ABs but Jane was a gun at test level. Consistently better than Reece at any rate.

You're good with computers apparently. Can you convert this into some kind of excel spreadsheet ? It's hard to read it as it is.
