And with some interesting results today - Warriors losing on the buzzer to the Spurs, the Clippers towelling the Rockets.

A few juicy games coming up the next few days
    T’Wolves v Grizzlies
    Grizzlies v Nuggets
    Clippers v Kings
    Warriors v Blazers
    Clippers v Warriors

The Rockets did rest nearly their whole starting 5 in fairness, and I assume we will right until the start of the playoffs.

More that the Clippers got the win and are desperate to try and get home court because their road record sucks. Only Dallas has a worse home record of the top 10 West teams.

'Everybody in the organization was miserable': Inside the Nuggets' shocking dual firings

With less than a week left in the regular season, Denver fired its head coach and GM, ending a yearslong cold war, and risking the NBA's most precious commodity: the prime of three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic.

LeBron two shots shy of surpassing Reggie Miller on 3s. It was a big deal when Ray Allen surpassed him (about a decade ago, or so) and I think this moves Reggie down to 7th on the alltime chart.

What’s interesting is that over their respective careers LeBron and Reggie have averaged the exact same number of 3pt attempts per game (4.7). Reggie slightly higher makes of 1.8 vs LeBron’s 1.7.

Also interesting - if Klay retires or gets injured, Buddy Hield is a legit shot to climb to 5th all time…

Now, this is not interesting but excuse me I'm bored waiting for a flight...... all top 10 have a California connection....

    1- Steph - Warriors
    2 Harden - from LA
3 Allen - born on a military base in Merced
    4 Lillard - from Oakland
    5 Thompson - Dad was a Laker
6 LeBron - ended career as a Laker
    7 Miller - from Riverside
    8 Korver - from LA
    9 George - from Palmdale
10 Carter - drafted by the Warriors (most tenuous one)

To shoehorn Hield in there he won the 3 pt contest as a Kings player.

This is a funny stat simply due to the contrast LeBron is number one in career pts, Kareem Abdul Jabbar is number 2 - LeBron has 2,500+ made threes - Kareem has the single solitary one. LBJ has a 7,500 pt head start on Kareem, lol.

He’s a dirty little fucker - the move where he dribbles around someone in open court then stops right in front of them so they run into him to draw a foul just does my head in. It’s up there with kicking the leg out on a shot attempt (Steph), the reaching the arms through and up (Harden) and general flopping (Bron)

I’m all about TFG and Wemby, 7 footers with the right attitude 💪

Dallas drafted Paige Bueckers with the first pick in the WNBA draft.

We all can learn about teamwork and how to lift up others through this basketball phenom from Minnesota.

Looks like they got a good one

Firings, dysfunction and chaos: Inside Dallas' lost season and the end of the Luka Doncic era

Firings, dysfunction and chaos: Inside Dallas' lost season and the end of the Luka Doncic era

Doncic's time in Dallas ended with a shocking trade on Feb. 2, but the beginning of the end dates to the summer of 2023.

Harrison knocked down the Mavs and rebuilt in his image. I bet he is fired within 1-2 seasons

some interesting Game 1s of the play offs proper

    Pacers pumping the Bucks
As expected, fuck all separating the Clippers and the Nuggets
Knicks and Pistons looks a close series as well, 1-1 as of a couple of hours ago
Timberwolves blowing out the Lakers on the road
Thunder getting 50 in front of the Grizzlies in the third, and then making a statement by staying there
Celtics easily over the Magic, and Cavs the same over the Heat
Butler and Curry taking care of the Rockets on the road.

Be interesting to see which series involves a team making adjustments and competing now.

@mariner4life some of those Curry 3s were Olympic Games esque. They’ll be pleased with the defensive effort keeping them to sub 90 points but they did ship a shed load of offensive boards.

One was fucking ridiculous. Any other player gets roasted for a fundamentally awful option

    And Steph swishes it

The one on Jalen Green on the right side of the court was crazy given Green had played it very well to not foul but be in his grill.

There was one on the left side and Butler was on the bench and Butler’s reaction was priceless. Genuine shock that he had hit it.

Adams the only Rocket with a positive +/- in that game. And it was genuine impact, they cut the lead from 20ish to 5ish while he was on the floor, Warriors couldn't keep him off the O boards and he ran some of the offence to good effect. Unsure why they benched him though he was likely gassed.

He can’t play too many minutes these days plus the switching ultimately catches up to him. But he’s still top 2 in O boards.

He’s there to give baby Joker a rest by and large.

Sources: Shaq agrees to be Sac State's hoops GM

Sources: Shaq agrees to be Sac State's hoops GM

Shaquille O'Neal has agreed to become the men's basketball general manager of Sacramento State, sources told ESPN.

Shaq is now the general manager of the Sacramento State basketball program. Not sure what exactly the role entails but he links with Mike Bibby who is coaching the team.

It's funny because Shaq has his finger in so many pies it's hard to keep count. Good luck to him because he is a busy and in demand guy despite being long retired.
