And so we move to Magic Round, which is fucking awesome.
But, there has to be a few worries about the state of Suncorp. It looked like absolute shit on Thursday night, and if it doesn't stay dry this week, i wonder what the field will look like come the last game of the weekend?
I am heading down for the Saturday game to watch the Wahs v the Cowboys, a game i reckon we start favourites.
Very close to first Origin namings as well.
They also had the Super Rugby and A League on it too. It looked like a cow paddock for the Roar v Nix game.
Watched the Tigers Sharks game. How did the Tigers win that! The Sharks gave a lesson in the last 20/golden point on how to lose a game haha.

Been interesting this week watching NRL fans and commentators speed running through what feels like 6 years of the same shit rugby has been trying to sort out in about 3 days. Penalties are too high for innocuous or accidental head shots. No consistency. The Bunker isn't helping. The Bunker is making it worse. Why are they allowed to go backwards and rule on old things?
The AFL have had their own piece of concussion paranoid stupidity this week as well.
The collision football codes have got real problems on their hands. NRL fans are pissed. Rugby fans used to be pissed but they have been gaslit in to believing in this shit now.
i cannot wait until the about turn this weekend for magic round. I reckon you'll have to flat out punch someone to get binned.

Haven’t been around to hear any of the bin-athon fall out. Personally don’t think it swings completely the other way this week. Consistency has been horrendous though. Think they continue with medium and direct force to the head, just not going back two sets to find it.
Hope the rain stays away from magic round, could have an impact on a few results though

I honestly believe Daniel tupou is the best value player in the league

Also, Daly is definitely picking Teddy for Origin

Warriors 28-12 at half time.
Pompey gets an intercept try right on half time. That’s an impressive 40 from the Warriors, especially in the wet, only a couple of errors I can remember.
Metcalf running more and carving up.
This is the Wahs though, so definitely not comfortable yet.
-
Bloody hell.
The Warriors are no good for the ticker.
Cowboys played a blinder in the second half.
Warriors were on the ropes, holding on to a 4 point lead with 15 to go and despite a few bounces of the ball that didn’t go their way, they showed plenty of ticker and hung on for the win 30-26
Fuck 🤯

Don’t underestimate the Berry injury, one of our better defenders, his ongoing hammy issue forced the backline reshuffle and Drinky showed his class to keep going back to exploit.
Well done warriors for even hanging on -
Points differential needs work but keep winning and you’re always in with a shout

Fun if nervy afternoon at suncorp. Wahs fans out in force.
Got blind. We won. How good
