Another must win game for the Canes, this will pretty much solidify their playoff position if they can pick up the win in Brisbane.

A few players under injury clouds heading into this game.

    • Peter Lakai (in a moon boot on Saturday but expected to travel)
    • Bailyn Sullivan - failed an HIA so will likely miss the trip to Brisbane with a week's stand down.
    • Xavier Numia (in a moon boot on Saturday but expected to travel)
    • Ngane Punivai - picked up an ankle injury so is in doubt
    • Brayden Iose - was on crutches after the game on Friday so is in doubt and likely gone for the season.
    • Caleb Delany - TBC, not sure of injury status but could be available for this game
    • Tyrel Lomax - will hopefully return for this game
    • Harry Godfrey - TBC, not sure of injury status but could be available for this game

I think best case scenario our team for Saturday should look something like the below.

    1. Numia / Mafileo
    2. Aumua
    3. Lomax / Tosi
    4. Gallagher
    5. Walker-Leawere
    6. Shields
    7. Kirifi
    8. Lakai
    9. Roigard
    10. Love
    11. Fineanganofo
    12. Higgins
    13. Proctor
    14. Banks
    15. Harkin
    16. Tuputupu
    17. Numia / Rakete-Stones
    18. Tosi / Mafileo
    19. Delany / Plummer
    20. Flanders
    21. Enari
    22. Cameron
    23. Umaga-Jensen

I'm excited to see Kade Banks get a run in his preferred 14 jersey if that does play out. The top try scorer in the NPC, deserves an opportunity and might light things up on what is likely to be a hard Suncorp surface.

Will be keeping an eye on Gallagher, he's been stepping up nicely this season. Like the cut of his gib.

I do have a fine mane that I'm sure you admire. I am curious though, I thought baldness was supposed to skip the next generation?

Up to a couple of moments ago I used to get annoyed at idiots who posted teams on here via instagram because I couldn't see the team lists. Then I accidentally swiped right...

Great to see Flanders back. Aumua would want to start firing a few shots soon.

@Canes4life At least the Canes make the names readable on their Instagram posts. Some other teams are dreadful via that mode and I struggle to read them

Tough match for Reds. But they do get 2 of their 9 injured Wallabies back this game. Can't see them doing too well in playoffs.

Yeah a fair few out for the Reds.

    Who are their Wallabies out?

    • Flook
    • Faessler
    • Blyth
    • Hodgman
    • Wright
    • Salakai-Loto
    • Gibbon
    • Uru

Better to have players available this time of year than at the start I guess. Reds are there for the taking by the looks of it, then again they still look strong on paper.

This game is also a fight for 4th place which could ultimately determine the 1st loser from the quarters. I say that loosely as there is still plenty of water to flow under the bridge but the winner of this game will be in the box seat for that position going into the last round.

    FOUR fucking captains?
Over 25% of on-field players are captains.
Have they been doing that all season?

They haven't had a chance because one of them has always been injured or has come off the bench. I think this is the first time all of them have started.

I'm not a fan. Kirifi should be the straight out captain IMO.

I not a fan either, but bet Kirifi will be the on field captain as such. It's just part of this leadership group thing isn't it
