I have a Braun S9 wet & dry. It's good, but nothing like as good as a DE razor.
That being said, the Braun doesn't make me bleed.

doesn't cause ingrown hairs.
That plus small grazes turning into infections is something I can't seem to shake. Plus the razor is getting "grabby" around the moustache and beard areas no matter the angle, blade, or length of hair.
You have a beard? So you just need a trimmer?
Nup no beard - disposal of facial hair is the goal.
Long ago I had an electric and it was OK but didn't get right down to skin. My brother had one of those Philips triple head shavers but I found them a bit shit at the time.
Grow a beard, (at worst) trim it once a week - I did it a decade ago, best thing I ever did.

I have the best of all worlds, shithouse patchy facial hair seemingly made of steel that hurts like fuck and also intercepts any food if grown more than a week, with some patches eventually turning ginger. Can grow one helluva magnum mo, but just can't eat or move my top lip.

Are you sure you're Arab?
Don't the Afghanis have some ginga beards?

I'll thank my mum's Irish ancestry for that. Another reason to hate the fluffybunnies.

I failed to mentioned I'm also shit at growing facial hair. And the neck hairs irritate the fuck out of me.
TBF, mine isn't great, I can go big curly bushy, scruffy as fuck, or quite patchy when short, but because I'm salt and pepper it generally works.
You can still do you neck hairs, when I'm short I do my neck hairs with a disposable razor in the shower every couple of days.
