As a Blues fan I hope we've seen the last of Christie in Black

I think this is going to be the strongest ABs squad since 2017.

6, 10 and the wings are the only positions where we aren't stacked.

Some bloody good players are going to miss out of the 35.

@sparky Yeah for sure but I think hotham is still too streaky but can see him getting there very quickly - he has a lot of promise

What's Reihana's running and passing game like?

A couple of contrasting styles with Roigard, Ratima and Hotham.

Whilst overall tonight’s match wasn’t the game for running rugby, it was still good to see Hotham take on the line a few times and create some space. That’s his strength, but he’s good at the base and other than not using that one really dominant scrum, he had a very good game and controlled our attack well.

Ratima’s pass is excellent but he didn’t really vary his play tonight. Less influence than we have seen throughout the season. I’m still in the camp of starting him and using Roigard as our finisher.

I quite like Roe’s game like others. He has good quickness.

Going to be interesting to see if the talk on Roe is accurate, Hotham will be a bit hard done by.

Surprised at the ones who still want to see Reece at test level. I mean how many times do you have to underwhelm for the ABs to stop getting picked? Feel the same way about Havilli too.

I don't really get the Reece hate. I don't think his shockers have been any worse than the likes of Jordie/Jordan.

Don't think Roe is particularly close to the squad.

    What makes you think that?

Jordie has had quiet games, not shockers, Jordan has had shockers but at least has had a lot more blockbusters. With Rees I don’t believe he is good enough to crack the top 6 or 7 teams in World Rugby. All the other RC teams alone can field multiple better wingers. He offers little threat on the outside and all the crap he does around the rucks does not cut it at test level. When he was embarrassed against France that should have been it.

@KiwiMurph It ain't pretty, but he can do a job there.

Quinn Tupaea Vs Jordie Barrett for the 12 jersey is a very tight call.

    Razor prolly still loves DH...

    Super Rugby winning Captain.

Id say Razor will be all over him unfortunately.

I wonder what Rees looks like in slo motion in his last AB game, don’t even have to go back 4 years for that!!! No issues with red but clear to me Jordie off balance as soon as he caught the ball. What is he 40/50 caps on? Zero relevance to Rees.

Anyone see where those goalposts went?

He hates Reece so much he can’t even write a legible sentence.

    Zero relevance though.

Yeah, there's guys who just haven't made the step up to test level and have been given plenty of opportunity to prove themselves. I'd put Reece in that category.

Great Super Rugby player, like Havili (Papali'i and Tuipulotu can be put in the same category too if im accused of bias), but they're not test level.

Still nice to have those guys around the scene for depth purposes.
