Fiji 8, 12, 13, 23, 5, 9 were all excellent

I went back and checked - Wilson clearly got it down eventually - what are we talking about here?
Yeah clear grounding, eventually as you said.

Fiji do play a style that has troubled the Aussies. Lions will play very different and they weren’t great last night either

Well, nobody will be happy with that.
The Lions will. Not much to worry about from the Wallabies. Very average.
I hope for Joe Schmidt's sake that he was keeping the powder dry.
We could just ignore that it wasn't that long ago that Fiji beat an at home England.

Just seems rather ironic.

Why is there even discussion, the ref gave it as a try, so it was obviously grounded and a try.

Well it is fairly common nowadays for a ref to award a try and then have to overrule himself so I wouldn't say that's the be all and end all.

Was it a great Wallaby performance? No. But I thought it was OK.
Fiji are a good side, and if you let them into the game then they are very hard to beat. Sometimes I think we're trapped in a 90s mindset of 'minnow' nations, where it's almost expected we put 50 on them. Those days are long gone.
That said we got ourselves in a big hole. The first 38 minutes was pretty good, if a little wasteful inside the Fijian 22. But then to concede a try on halftime thanks to a series of dumb decisions let them into the game.
And then a beautiful end-to-end try and they've got their tails up. Offloads start sticking. The balls start bouncing for them. The crowd find their voice. I've seen this game a thousand times with the Wallabies.
We did pretty well to win the game in the last five minutes, though of course it should never have come to that.
Bobby V and Skelton will make a difference if they are fit. We got a bit too lateral at times and more direct hard running in close is what we need. Gleeson is great at that, and Wilson, so the players are there. Just a bit more direction.
And obviously a change at 10. Noah isn't even a safe pair of hands anymore. Just don't know how we can keep playing him and expecting a different outcome.

I actually tipped Fiji to win because of a number of factors
- Day time game and dry track,
- Oz missing a couple of key players that have size to combat the confrontational style of Fiji,
- an improved 9-10-12-13 for Fiji
- Oz 9-10 combination selected is/was not the answer
- Fiji style tends to discomfort the Aussies.
