Peyper let the Irish players/crowd get to him there with Smith.

Very Cardiffy feeling moment in this game. Lousy yellow card to a half, injuries to key players starting early, an early lead that could very quickly be erased - crowd very much in the game and referees ear...

    Carney surely a penalty there.

Someone just rifled in at Whitelock's knees in back play around the ruck - hopefully that is the flag.

One of many reasons why I want to punch my screen when someone craps on about "if we're going to lose to someone, I'm happy its the Irish." FFS.

The way these Irish Comms have worked out directions, you'd think Ireland had shifted iin the earthquakes and their GPS needed to be recalibated because that Irish scrim almost lost the ball it was going backwards

Yep, the defence of him is that he's playing "tighter" these days. He's not doing much when he is...

Where was that high shot? TV crew obviously couldn't find it for a replay.

This game shows once again, that big screen replays should not be under the control of the home broadcaster. (Not talking about BBs knock-on).

    LEARN THE LAWS

Loss of possession === no knock on - Barrett can't knock it on with a strip. IRB clarified this a couple of years ago

    Stone cold wrong again

ps - not saying I agree, just frustrated that the laws get applied so inconsistently

Look very strong with ball in hand. It'll be tough to beat that second half in the republic but I really see them absolutely obliterating them in the second half look full of running and Ireland are out on their feet and surely the penalty lottery swings back against them.

Still see them tickling 50 in the classic 2016 test.
