Brisk pace! Meant to be 30 minutes hard out, and then 15 minutes winding down the turbos!

And MN5, it is never interesting, I HATE walking. But love playing with numbers. This stops me from looking at my watch every 6 seconds too, only look at the check points. Freaked me out at check point Alpha being the exact same time 2 in a row. No walk today, cardio at the gym this morning.

Definitely helps to have some good tunes going on the ipod. Also don't wear suit pants, they wear out quickly !

hmmm, times getting longer and longer as the week goes (see first post for times). So after two days off weights it'll be interesting to see how it goes tonight. Especially as on Friday after the walk I hopped of the balcony and my left calf 'pinged'. A dagger right into the middle of the muscles. I had felt it tight at squash last Monday, and was worried then, but pinged something wicked. ANyway, after ice and compression and elevation all Friday, it seems as good as gold today, and even Saturdya did not feel a thing. But we'll see today on the road as I walk home...

I'm amazed you are playing squash before your tournaments, big injury risk surely?

probably is a bit bloody stupied Kirwan, but fun!! And is business house fun stuff, but that still won't stop you from pulling a muscle. Mind you, neither will going to get some wood!

Won't be playing now though, that is for sure - had the warning shot across the bows with the calf, will listen (probably)!

well, I've been put in my place by my trainer. no more squash, no more hills, and no more calf raises until future notice! Cycle or walk on the flat. Any potential gains are outweighed by potential for injury. So the long walk home is now an amble down the beach. Still 50 minutes, but just not the same!!

Eyes on the prize Bart, plenty of time for the fun stuff when you overload your trophy cabinet.

two walks home via the beach and a walk straight home / cycle so fat this week on the cardio front. Going to do the old pub road again tonight, have not been feeling calf at all, and the cant of the beach has given me ankle pains after two bloody walks! So OPR and check-points alpha through to echo...
