Hugely understrength England 15, even by the standards of these end of season baa baas games. Includes a 19 yo lock with two AP appearances starting and an 18yo flanker in the bench. Plenty more players who are unlikely to pick up a full cap, so a win would be a big ask.
Would be surprised if Franks made it as he was sent off for punching in the Championship (2nd tier) final last night. Unless the citing process doesn't have time to run its course by the weekend.

It doesn't look like the Barbarians games will be televised in NZ, but there will be livestreams. I won't post links to illegal streams in this thread, if only because they might be taken down more quickly.

13-0 to England at half time. Baabaas had a few good chances, but couldn't convert them into points. The score doesn't completely reflect the game. The Baabaas made some errors that can be blamed on the squad being together for only a short time.

Pathetic refereeing in this game. Ref has been quite condescending all game and now he sends Baabaas prop Nariashvili to the bin. No idea what for, but it can't have been anything serious. Something went wrong in the scrum. Ref is clearly forgetting what kind of game this is.

Danny Care scores at full time and England win 28 to 14.
Deserved win, but the decision to disallow a try by Jeremy Thrush for the Baabaas was somewhat controversial.Hard to make more comments on the game. My stream was constantly interrupted by buffering (but I couldn't find a better one) and that was quite distracting.

Yeah, I saw it live, but it started buffering straight after, so if they showed replays of that knock-on, I couldn't watch it. My impression was that he didn't genuinely try, but that impression may have been wrong.

“Unfortunately some talented players were not available this season because of injury, but it has also given us the opportunity to blood in new talent,” he said.
Samoa Rugby Union has today also announced the appointment of former All Black Aaron Mauger as assistant coach.

“After discussing earlier in the year this opportunity, I am grateful to have someone of Aaron’s calibre join our coaching team. His coaching pedigree is much in demand around the world, and he will fill an area of need in our coaching setup that will assist us greatly.”Aaron Mauger said: “I am very humbled and excited about this opportunity.
