Anyone else get constipation from green tea???

I used to be regular as fuk (9am daily <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/eusa_whistle.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ) but now not so much. Putting it down to the green tea as its the only change in my diet.

Have tried to drink green tea but just don't like the stuff. Can drink it with sugar but that obviously kills the purpose of drinking it in the first place. I was trying to ween myself off coffee and was doing a damn good job of it until the wife goes and buys one of those fancy espresso machines. Can easily drink 4-5 shots of that a day now. Still, I guess thats better than lattes which are apparently major calorie bombs.

latte - 150 per cup I think. That from a story one of Ness's competitors was telling us at the last comp a few weekends ago taht we watched. She was dieting down and could not work out why she was not shedding the kilos. So shw wrote down everything she ate for a few days, and the 4 lattes a day, 600 calories were the killer. Especially when you're eating only about 12-1500 or some such!! Or meant to be!

I've tried some raspberry/loganberry/strawberry tea recently, was able to drink it 'straight' it smelt nice, but otherwise was pretty meh and and looking online the health benfits aint that great (except an urban myth that it helps with labour...)

Also tried some lemon tea, had some honey and it was quite pleasant

we use honey to sweeten drinks when we are allowed to. Not in our lean down periods though. Or that artifical sweetner you can buy for cooking.

Not sure if you can get that here in Norway. Considering the price in NZ it probably costs three times that here. Not big fan of the honey actually. Think I might have eaten too much of it as a kid.
Those sugarine things arent too bad are they?

Green tea helps in burn fat and boosts metabolism,
The recent study reported that
3 – 5 cups of green tea per day can help you burn more than 70 calories per day,
which amounts to 7 pounds per year...
