@snowy I noticed today he's now added "standing in the attacking line obstructing the team in possession" to his list of dubious refereeing skills.

Was just wondering. Could Caleb Clarke and Etene Nanai-Seturo both do a double this year? The U20 JWC in June and the RWC Sevens in July?

And would they be the first players to do that?

Edited to add that Koroi also qualifies for both.

Stupid rule. That was clearly a grounding, even if you couldn't see it.

Oh, and Clarke is on the field. Who's missing? Curry is there, too.

Stanaway having a game to forget. Bombs a try and now a couple of defensive errors in our 22.

NZ their own worst enemy. Why did Curry go himself when he got held up?

In 2005, Liam Messam played at the World Cup Sevens at Hong Kong in March and the U21 World Cup in Argentina in June.

Deserved win for the AB7s. Inconsistent refereeing could have cost them the game, but fortunately it didn't. Good first outing for Clarke, who has in one game already convinced more than Nanai-Seturo.

Better second half NZ to get the win.

Nanai-Seturo with his best game yet - huge involvement.

Clarke looked a bit lost but would be good experience.

@kiwimurph Haha, I'm totally of the opposite opinion about Clarke and Nanai-Seturo!

So NZ have to play Fiji again, for fifth place. With Fiji looking much better, also narrowly having beaten the AB7s yesterday, it's going to be a tough game for our team. K/o 9.39pm.

    Don't be so negative.

@stargazer I'm of the same opinion as @KiwiMurph! Both looked comfortable but Nanai had a fair bit more action and aggression about him.

Great last game from the AB7s, beating Fiji 31 - 7. The handbrakes finally came off. It was a great sight seeing Mikkelson outrunning Jerry Tuwai, one of Fiji's speedsters. Hope Knewstubb is okay after his head knock; he's been one of the better players this weekend - awesome on defence, making a lot of turnovers - and definitely needed for Hamilton.

Fifth place in Sydney, after 2nd place in Dubai and Cup winners in Cape Town. This season is already much better than last year's.

Wonder how much Molia had on Fiji to win? We seem to have have one guy having an absolute mare every game.

    Oddly quiet in here?

Australia dish out a lesson in the final, SA crumble. Pretty good to do the double.

Yeah Aussie Men and Women were pretty awesome this weekend, we’ll done! First time Aussie men have won a home tournament since 2012 (last time Wallabies also won the Bledisloe).

My Aussie wife already saying the Fox Sports commentators will be spinning this as a prelude to how the Wallabies will go against NZ this year...

@bones Missed the final games. A relative living in Europe suddenly decided that it was a good time to Skype and he's always full of good stories. Funny guy, just bad timing.
