Well done! That's a good result. Sounds like they cocked up the markers at the wrong end of the race-when people are getting tired.

I hope to see some more of your hill runs while the weather is still perfect. Ha, since you're in Northland, the weather is probably perfect all year!

declared a drought here last week!!

But yeah will get back to my routine this week, although I did spy a pretty mean looking set of steps off the track I ran along today...

Was nice to do a pretty flat run for once too, to get a guage of my time, and always easier when you have someone in front/behind to chase/stay in front of as well, whereas by yourself it is easy to slip into a comfortable pace that probably isnt quite as much as it should be.

The guy I ran about half of it with is doing 100km Oxfam walk round Taupo, and he has found some great step spots about for me, although a bit further away than my usual

As I said to Paul Cully via Twitter: hasn't it rained in a month?
Went for a run on Wednesday but that was it this week.

Spent all day moving shit and cleaning the section (more of same tomorrow) readying it for the influx of potential buyers over the next few weeks, just hope themfuckers next door don't scare any off with their bass music playing!

Crank out that burpee workout yo!! or walking shoulder press with the boxes as you load the car/truck!

You've been working hard so you should get by with the odd run or weights session. Clearing the section will be keeping you busy. Exercise will be good for dealing to stress over negotiations etc - plus you will look buff'er when you need to menace the neighbours!

Just explain what's going on to the neighbours, and when people will be coming through. If they start up the music, dump your rubbish over their fence

Good to see you back at it. That's a good couple of workouts this week.

Exercise is a great way to relive stress, just we usually don't have enough time to exercise when stressed!

haha yeah, the stress has impacted me in that I have felt almost like I wanna hurl, so working out or running was not somethign I felt remotely like doing, so was very easy not to.

Hopefully house goes unconditional on Tues/Wed, we can start looking for a rental while we build and I can start hitting some trails again.

My weight has stabilised too, even if I am about 2kg under my target (want to stay ~90kg, but sitting under 88 at present, which aint a bad thing)

Spent the morning moving stuff form the house into the trailer, then moving off trailer into my parents house...still struggling with time to do stuff, but once we move out into a rental over ANZAC Day - weekend, things should get back to normal, living out in the sticks for 3-4 months.

Warm up on punch bag
100 dead lifts, 100 box jumps, 100 (ea side) hammer/tyre, 100 skull crushers, 100 plank/wall

Warm up on the punch bag

100 squats standing on med ball (solid rubber, so used handles above head for balance)
100 med-ball sq. thrusters with a throw of the ball at the top
100 ez bar curls
100 (not sure what they are called) but down on all fours, extend right arm and left leg to horizontal for reps, then left arm and right leg
100 plank-wall (abs were still sore after Sunday)

Been doing light running and lotsa walking just to do something with my world in disaray at present. We start moving out in 2 weeks, so once in the temp-new house out in the sticks I'll get stuck in again (plenty of firewood to chop)

Weight sitting between 88-89kg now.

It's been 11 days. Hope things are good for you in paradise there in the North, and you have been able to find some time to keep up some workouts. Let's see those log lifting and throwing, and chopping workouts soon....
e.g. 80kg log-lift onto shoulders, walk 100m, drop, lift and return, chop into firewood in 5 minutes, repeat.
also...lift log, move it 10m. drop. jump over it 10 times. repeat 10 times. chop the fecker up in 5 minutes.
Heh. <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/rugby/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
Any others have workout ideas?
