Geez, that was an awesome break from Bridge. So fast. Try Makene.

They're stuffing up my tipping. C'mon Wellington, that margin should be smaller.

Bridge getting a wee bit of revenge on Aumua after he burned him on the outside last year

@kiwimurph Can't believe the Canes still have him for another year on their roster. They really stuffed up by not signing Falcon.

This game is heating up nicely.

A change of halfback has changed Wellington

@kiwimurph The Canes need a good signing at 10; if BB decides to leave after the RWC, they're in trouble.

Lol that scrum feed, might as well just stand at the back and put it under 8's feet!

@african-monkey Exactly. Try and score off every bloody move. Far too predictable with Fifita taking it up every second phase aswell. I don't think Canterbury were much better but showed typical patience and discipline with the type of players they choose.

I think that's the first time ever that I have been impressed with Fifita. He had a monster game. Big hits and carries as well as some heavy involvement at ruck time. Hope he can continue this form.

@canes4life Yup thought Canterbury were there for the taking if Wellington were smarter but as usual Canterbury find a way to win which will probably kick start their season.

@akan004 Agreed, he showed how good he can be on defence and carried well I thought. Good to see him show more to his game other than his usual big runs out wide.

Good, albeit scrappy win to get our season going. Phew. They have some holes, but Wellington are a good NPC side and with the cattle missing from 2017, we just needed to get this W no matter how. Away to BOP this week which will be interesting.

If Ennor is out, there will be a massive vacancy in this side which we just can't fill adequately with the erosion to our depth since last year. Man for man we should still clean them up, but that'd be what Taranaki fans thought too. At least our guys don't have to travel to that dump Rotorua.
