@duluth Wow, another U19 making his debut! Kereru-Symes not off to Taupo (like Fakatava), but Flanders might be.

I prefer Dunn at 12 instead of Tofilau, who's a bit of a ball hogg.

Odd that Flanders is off to the 19s, he's looked good when he comes on - I guess Tremain covers the reserve loosie spot though and Flanders helps out chances at U19 level.

@Stargazer As Hooroo notes, you should rename this thread the Battle of the Bays.

@nepia I was just about to post that that's not the case. He's been given a rest or is injured. I'll post the U19 squad in the rep thread in a minute.

Ah right, I just assumed he was with the 19s as he's on that squad list in the 19s thread and Fakatava isn't.

Shit, I hope HBT got it wrong where they're saying that Dixon has "a possibly season-ending knee injury"! He's been massive in the first few games.

This article gives a bit more info about young lad Kereru-Symes.

Sadly it's those miscreants up north, however, now that we have an actual coach I think we'll be regaining our title this year or next (we might be a little too inexperienced this year).

Indeed it is as Higgins gives his flag a massive wave in support of the Magpies as Mr. Kelly takes an eternity to confirm what I knew the instant Johan Lowe got his mits onto the ball.

I wish the Magpies stopped kicking possession away.

Garland didn't do anything like that when playing for Magpies.

Geez, we'll now have to play with a 19-year-old debutant at hooker for 50 minutes of the game. Way too soon. Hope he goes well.

And to make it worse not finding touch from a penalty ends up costing three points as Mr. Kelly awards the visitors yet another penalty.
Hawkes Bay 05 - 06 Bay of Plenty after about thirty minutes. HB with a good breeze behind them

If Ben Power's injury is serious and he can't play on Wednesday, I guess Jacob Devery will have to come back from the U19s.
