As much as a shithole that Palmy is there are actually a few places I'd eat at (there's some good pan Asian places and cafes) - but there's no reason to go there unless you're going there. I'd stop in Bulls.

This rock that I live under is getting fucking heavy. I have no idea where Sanson is and it is more than likely that I don't want to. However should I happen to be going through there, I will definitely stop at Viv's Kitchen. Marketing genius (although I am quite concerned about the "Home of the cream horn" bit).

@mariner4life I think "concerned" is better. I personally wouldn't have painted that on the side of my van, but here I am mentioning it again...Kevan Withers knows how to draw attention to himself (his parents were on to that as well just by misspelling Kevin).
The locals of Sanson (wherever the fuck that is) must be queuing up to get one though. Advertising genius is Kevan.

Isn’t it cream horn? Creamed horns sounds way more interesting though

Thank you. I am relieved as those pictures could have been so much worse had I ventured into the wider web.
Next time I am in Sanson I may well pop into Viv's, have a chat with Kev about publicity, and sample a cream horn (something I never thought that I would say, but I can predict the responses to that comment from some here).

We were in town on Saturday, only visited the wharf area ( mrs was picking up her Auckland marathon pack)
