@Stargazer said in Sharks vs Blues:

The Sharks lose Nkosi, who has gone off with a neck injury.

Commentator says (unless I heard it wrong) that Nkosi can run 10m in 1.55 seconds. That's utter nonsense.

How clear does the ref need to be to these spastic South Africans that he wants to see what happens afterwards?

Neck roll Papali'i penalised, but it looked like the Sharks player had a Blues player by the neck, too (on the ground). Penalty only. It was Rieko on the ground; are they looking at him retaliating? Nothing in it.

The saffa has kicked him and Rieko is an egg but there's nothing in it. Carry on.

Rieko takes offence to having his own neck pulled at by the Sharks player.

@antipodean @Stargazer all I saw was the saffa trying to kick, I didn't see a saffa grabbing any neck?

Apparently it was 3 black they were looking at, not Rieko. Utter nonsense. Move on with the game.

@Stargazer These stoppages are really a blight on our game - just get on with it after 5 mins of fannying around geezus

On the upside I reckon the ref has been good.

Blues don't know how to defend a line-out maul. Sharks in again. This could be a loooooong game.

@KiwiMurph Yeah, I hoped that had changed with new coaches. Apparently not (yet).

@KiwiMurph They seem desperate to accommodate SBW. They should just start Faiane at 12, where he played very well for Auckland. Put SBW on the bench.

Yeah not sure that had much to do with the number on his back, but lesson learned. Take the fella right in front of you who has the ball.
