    My position is NZ teams 1 2 3 4 & 5.

And i'd really like the Blues not to be last ( this year ... )

Bridge didn't really do anything tonight apart from show pace for some easy run ins.

Reminds you of Doug howlett really doesn’t it 😉

Not a bad comparison actually. Howlett was probably my favourite player at the Blues and I see a lot of similarities in Bridge’s game to him.

They like to swerve with pace rather than step. Both run excellent lines - right place right time guys.

Hungus Reece doesn’t have the same ring to it though.

@Yeetyaah Can't be sure, but I'll never forget the comments from Tamanivalu a year after his move from the Chiefs to the Crusaders, saying how much better the culture was and how much he enjoyed playing for the Crusaders. I saw similar comments from isi Tu'ungafasi on instagram about a month ago about how much he loved it in Chch. Also not to forget that the Crusaders were the only franchise throwing Reece a lifeline, so my guess would be that he would like to stay.

I think that was more a Tamanivalu thing than anything else, all the other Chiefs players of that era were happy with the culture.

Wasn't it not that the Crusaders were only team throwing him a lifeline but they brought him in as an injury replacement as they had space.

As a Chiefs fan I'm hoping Moeakiola leaves and the Chiefs pick up Reece. He just signed for Waikato again so I feel it's possible.

@Yeetyaah Chiefs coach Colin Cooper explained that due to Reece originally intending to go to Connacht, they committed to signing another impressive winger, big Tongan-born Japan powerhouse Ataata Moekiola.

“With Sevu Reece’s contract not coming through with Connacht, we had already committed to him (Moeakiola), so it’s unlucky for Sevu to miss out,” Cooper said.

Moeakiola. is probably on a 2 year contract sort of thing Cooper would do.

@Yeetyaah I am sure they are maybe hard pulling Reece away from that environment that has brought his GF and Sevu into the fold when a lot of people where very critical of The Crusaders giving him a lifeline early on,That was before he produced this form.Hard to move from that franchise I would guess.

He lost a contract for domestic violence, he was already leaving to go overseas so he clearly didn't want to be in NZ. Why should the Chiefs and NZ waste space and money on him?
