First time all teams in the two finals are from one Country. Noice!

Both European finals all Premier League affairs. But that doesn't include the team top of the league.

Shame they changed the rules to allow 5 teams to qualify for champions league, otherwise Arsenal could potentially knock Tottenham out of the champions league by winning Europa.

So of the big 6 in April and May

Man City have to win at Brighton to retain the title.
Liverpool and Spurs to play the UCL final.
Arsenal and Chelsea to play the Europa final.
Man United got a point at relegated Huddersfield.

I've really regretted having to work for a living this week. Have do see those sorts of games live.

Interesting that all the goalscoring heroes this week would probably not have played except for injuries.

On this - it also shows how the EPL money has enabled teams to have players like Origi, Wijnaldum, Lucas Moura, Llorente etc on the bench as they are bloody good players and would be first teamers for similarly ranked teams in Europe.

And in the little old A League the game between Perth and Adelaide had pretty much everything. Adelaide coming back from 2-0 in the final seconds of the game, coming back again in ET to make it 3-3 and then at 4-4 sudden death in the shootout, 5 consecutive missed pens before Perth won it.

    Liverpool 1 Wolves 0
    Brighton 0 Man City 0

If it stays like this, the League title is going to Anfield for the first time in 29 years.

Man City 2-1 at Brighton. After an amazing 18 minutes, it is advantage City again for the title.

Half time. As things stand, the title goes to Manchester City, but stranger things have happened in football than a Brighton revival.

30 wins, 1 loss, 97 points, 25 in front of 3rd. No shame in that 2nd. Champs league final makes this a hell of a season

That would have won the PL 25 of the 27 years it has been in place! Only more points, this year 98 and last year 100 (According to Sky Sports, but I also though Man U did 100 points in a season)

Off season will be interesting with the comings and goings. Are Chelsea still banned from trading players?

I think so. They lost an appeal? I don't know if it precludes them from selling though?

I think you're right as there is talk of Hazard leaving.
