Thursday
5000m 19:17.1 and 40 minutes 10,710m

Friday
10,000 - 36:40.0 which was a new PB, by accident, didn't know, just a good hard row that went right. 40 seconds over 10 thousand metres doesn't sound like much to get down to 36 minutes, but it is!!

    Strong work Barty!
You'll be in the Olympics next!
Saw James Cracknell wandering around at the tri Mrs Luigi was competing in last week. He's a tall fucker - must be good having those big long levers working the oars.

    Monday.
30 minutes 8384m A new PB, just 6m to go to crack the 8400, that's the next goal.

evening 4 x 500m rows. first two just warmups, in 1:58 and 1:54. Next two were 500m PB attempts, but both ran out of gas after 250m at 1:28 and 1:26 rate (with different settings). Then just finished the rows easing home in 1:48 and 1:43. Amazing how quick the wheels fall off when you haven't been doing much 'pace rowing'!!

Must work on this, my old PB for this distance from a few years back 1:28, so a target to hit...

That's impressive! The lowest split I've seen on my machine is 1:31 but I can't hold it for any decent period of time. Not sure about my 500m time, I reckon I could do it in under 1:50 though.. I will see later on today <img src='http://www.daimenhutchison.com/invision/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />

is good fun some lower splits sprint work for a change.

I have joined an on line rowing team through the concept 2 website, some bloke emailed and asked me to join. Anyway, there are some real rowing maniacs out there. I have almost cracker 600,000 metres for the season in 72 odd days or whatever it is. But get this, the top guy in our 'team' has rowed, wait for it...

4.2 MILLION metres, ans is aiming for 20 million for the season. This bloke is 69 and all!!

but is way cool having a few memeber to challenge and times to beat - I have the best time over 6k, otherwise in the top few with most distances. 2 second out on the 500m challenges, hence the attempts tonight!!

Weighed myself last night actaully, first time for a few weeks. 100kg on the nose. SO after a hard out row, no doubt would be down to 97 or so., A genuine flyweight now!!
