That takes about 10 seconds, right?
The video is a Kiwi classic.
Depends on if you're stuck behind a tractor. She sings the whole thing regardless.

@jegga Winner. It looks like the girls from the Simply Irresistible video got another gig
Years ago my sister was a nanny to a woman who told everyone she was actually one of the models in the simply irresistible video. Understandably she never imagined that one day people would be able to do a quick google search to prove she was lying .
None of these women is her http://inthe1980s.com/robert-palmer-girls/

Since you did kickstart the thread with a Dutch group Golden Earring, I’ll add a couple exclusively from Holland (somebody might have already mentioned these, but I’m too lazy to read through ‘em all).
Staring with “Venus” by Shocking Blue. Sure, “Love Buzz” was covered a couple decades afterward by Nirvana, but really their only charting song was “Venus” and it was a global smash, hitting No. 1 in NZ and the only song they ever charted. (A cover by Bananarama in the mid-80s also hit No. 1 in NZ.)
And then there’s “Hocus Pocus” by Focus somewhat of a novelty hit in the early 70’s that went Top Ten in USA, and later became a FM rock radio staple throughout the world. The single that is, but I prefer the longer album version from “Moving Waves” with Jan Akkerman’s deliciously tasteful proto-metal axe-shredding.

The country singer from Indiana? She had several hits, and I couldn’t name one of them.

“Fire” by the Crazy World of Arthur Brown.
Lotsa people believe this song is the Birth of Prog.
