They needed to check it though. The AR was in front of the play so in a poor position to judge.

It’s a cruel game ..congratulations to wellington but you have got to feel for CM,thought they showed some real heart given how much they had to defend..
What frustrates me about officiating, CM had the dominant scrum throughout the game but were never rewarded by referee at any stage for that dominance when on a different day another referee will see it in a different light..
