@mikedogz if he doesn't claim he meant that, he isn't a real player

    Uruguay beat USA 32 - 25. A good result.

In the current round of Major League Rugby they are playing in the snow. Being a North Islander I say bugger that.

@mikedogz Do you know whether any of the countries competing in the Americas Rugby Championship can select their first choice players? It's clear that Argentina can't (hence, Argentina XV and not the Pumas), but I assume that all players that play in Europe aren't available either? What about players playing in the MLR? Do they have to be made available to national teams?

It's outside the international window so I don't think they are all at full strength. The Smaller South American teams don't have a lot of Pro's anyway.

There are European based players in the USA squad of 35. https://www.usarugby.org/2019/01/mens-national-team-announces-full-squad-for-americas-rugby-championship-2019/

@mikedogz Thanks, quite a few Europe based players, and also players involved in the MLR. So the USA had a near full strength team. I just checked, Canada also had Europe based and MLR players in their squad. Canada lost to Argentina XV 23 - 39 on Friday, with Argentina XV obviously being a B team.
