Funny how the commentators had just said that Wellington had trouble scoring tries this season, and then, within 30 seconds, Otago give them a nice present.

@Duluth Both the first and the second. Otago is making a lot of mistakes and has a defence like Swiss cheese.

Great ball carrying by the Wellington front rowers.

Another one for Fidow. If Otago don’t start tackling this could be a cricket score.

4 missed tackles for Aoina and 3 for Bower in the first quarter

Props getting isolated in the defensive line

@Stargazer if you let Wellington run and offload it’s gonna be a long afternoon.
Just seems to me Otago’s focus is the Shield ..
Would to love see Wes Goosen in the NZ sevens program..the man is seriously quick..

I wouldn't mind us hosting Otago in the semis.

Outstanding try. Canes need to get rid of Prinsep and sign Ben-Nicholas. He’s been massive this year.

Teariki Ben Nicholas is an All Black number 8 in waiting..his work rate and athleticism is something to behold..
Be a superb replacement for Read moving forward
bit of suspect forward pass in there but when your not tackling is just not up to scratch a missed forward pass becomes a mute point..

Stupid he’s not a Cane. Or the Chiefs should pick him up since The Chief Ben Nicholas should really be playing for the Chiefs. 😉

Prinsep is such a weird selection.

@Nepia I know Ben Nicholas got into a fair amount of trouble a few years ago and had to go to court. I remember the Canes CEO Avan Lee not being impressed. Maybe his view on Teariki hasn’t changed.

The Crusaders should snap him up then.
