Wellington vs Otago

@Steven-Harris he’s not troubled now, this was a wee while back. Apparently OBU in Wellington have really worked with him over the last few years to get him into a great head space to flourish and it’s showing.

@Steven-Harris said in Wellington vs Otago:
@Nepia it’s probably the perfect environment for a troubled player to head to.
Is The Chief still a troubled player? His "troubles" happened four years ago, right?
-
Josh Ioane in a well beaten team has got some really great touches to his game...
-
@Canes4life Yeah, the chance of the Wellington bias getting stronger is huge.
But seriously, if Henwood has re-signed or is still under contract, there may not be a vacancy in the Canes' loose forwards. Most players have already re-signed. Henwood and Bedwell-Curtis are the only question marks, but Flanders is likely to come in as well.
-
@Stargazer classic yarns by you.
He will surely take either Henwood or Bedwill-Curtis’s spot then. Savea, Kirifi and Evans can all cover 7 so it would make sense to sign Ben-Nicholas. I just think Prinsep is such a waste of space. He really doesn’t offer much at Super level.
-
@Stargazer not surprising when they took all their danger men off.
-
Well if your gonna get well beaten..make sure you do the next best thing..grab a bonus point..something the mob I support haven’t managed to do..
Congratulations to the lions..to much polish..! -
I dont rate Princep. But Plumtree (or someone in the Canes setup) does
Plumtree does like plodders with a good attitude though so its likely him
I was surprised BN didn't get a contract last year so maybe their is some attitude issue

@Winger I saw an interview the other week with Ben Nicholas and he seemed a well spoken, respectable young man. There could be more to it but I definitely think he is capable of doing great things at Super Rugby level. It would be a shame if the Canes let him sign for another team.
