    @taniwharugby said in Mitre 10 Cup - news, injuries etc:

    @Chris-B you mean at least 1 time a year?

    No - I genuinely mean lifetime immunity.

    With an absolutely miraculous spread of outcomes it will be 13 years before every other team wins the NPC.

    But, what will happen in reality is that Canterbury and Auckland will resume their mortal lock on the title and at best only a couple of teams will get a look in - and on recent form Ta$man is most likely!

    A Shield drought can be broken in a day - an NPC drought, well look at the Warriors! 🙂

    Counties Manukau have signed two young players on full contracts for 2020:

    CM U19s captain Ioane Moananu (hooker) and Cam Roigard (halfback), who also played for the U19s.

    Tai Lavea appointed Counties Head Coach for the next 2 seasons.

    I guess we will see a flood of St Kents boys?

    @Crucial So open slather to a select number of former students who started their first XV career at other schools then!

    @Crucial They might just be C-M boys returning home instead of being part of the Auckland system.

    Yeah, half of them probably came from CM catchment originally anyway.

    @Nogusta Yeah, probably.

    How many of the players you listed were from outside of Auckland anyway? Without knowing all their details Nanai Seturo, Nock, Reihana and P Parkinson are.

    @Bovidae Nani Seturo is from Auckland (Otara). From outside of Auckland - the Parkinsons, Enari (Tu Toa); Nock, Reihana, Williams (Northland), Christie (Counties), Cirkidaveta (Gizzyborne). The rest from Auckland?

    Well if they are used to being purchased for titles then they are likely to end up together at Ta$man and the Saders surely?
