@taniwharugby I was referring to the whole scene, "actors" and others.

The Walking Dead thread got me thinking of all the series i never finished.
House of Cards, maybe halfway through season 2? just got sick of the same shit every episode, and getting more and more unbelievable
Billions, again maybe halfway though the 2nd season, realised i didn't actually like any of the characters
Jack Ryan S2. Didn't have the same feel as the first one
American Gods. Halfway through first season, not as good as the book, found myself doing other things rather than watchingi have an attention span problem

Or popular TV shows you've never watched. Lost is one for me.
never finished Lost
Never seen:
The Wire
Breaking Bad
The Walking Dead
Justified
Deadwood (other than the odd episode during a channel flick)
The vast majority of the Sopranos -

@mariner4life Do you have an aversion to great TV (and The Walking Dead).

i just don't watch much, and suddenly, if you miss a couple of series, it becomes a burden
for instance, it would take me 2 years to watch Breaking Bad i reckon. I'm not going to start that shit
and, given the wife and i don't see much of each other as it is, i am hardly going to make her sit through S3:E4 of a show she hasn't watched at all.

oh, and Watchmen. It was boring as fuck.

@mariner4life It took me 6 years to watch Breaking Bad ... pilot and second episode in 2008 and the rest in 2014.
More short season shows that are good:
Firefly 14 eps https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0303461/
Terriers 13 eps https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1493239/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1 -

Serenity kind of doesn't quite live up to the series while still being good, but as you watched the movie first you might find it the other way. But it is a cracking series. In my top 10 despite the short run.

Yeah I have ignored other series that people recommend that are 2+ seasons

Which reminded me about Quarry. Still can't believe that got cancelled.

I have the pilot of Quarry and have never watched it.
I've never heard of The Fixer though.

This. The series was much better IMO. I was genuinely gutted when that ended.
One of the few occasions where when I was in a position to get a message to someone famous (in this case Nathan Fillion), that I passed on how much I enjoyed the show.
Murmerings in the sea of nostelgia reboots that they might take a look at this again.

I watched a couple of eps late night on channel 2 or 3 and thought WTF is this? Then about 3 years later a mate had the box set and I watched the whole thing ... may have been my first binge watch.
Oddly enough I had the same reaction with The Wire seeing that late at night on Ch2 and the same mate made me watch S1.

A former member of the Special Forces, John Mercer is also a convicted killer. Recruited by a retired police officer who runs an unofficial crime-fighting force, he is released from prison and becomes, in his own words, "a hit man for the state." Lenny Douglas offered him a new life and a new job. Mercer's new job is to take care of things when top criminals slip through the justice system. His team is rounded out by a petty thief he met while in prison and a disgraced former police officer.
