Coronavirus - Australia

I like going to functions/ dinners to have people tell me how much they're in debt and all in property. I just smile and mention "diversification" as I try to find someone else to talk to.

THE FUCK!!!
The Qld health officer is doubling down and not only is September now likely, she is hinting it may be later.
She actually compared us to Spain, New York, and London.

My wife will be furious at the idea she can't spend her birthday at home.

Dropped the wife off at work and noticed a heap more traffic on the road. It's not hard to see why. Overnight confirmed cases increased by two (2) making 609 active confirmed cases in the country.
Since 5th April there has been a 25% increase of confirmed cases, a 90% reduction in those hospitalised (currently only 41 people) and 90% reduction in ICU (currently nine people).
Small wonder people are going about their normal lives as much as possible. The sooner some politicians start getting with the programme, the better.

It seems to me that Paluszczuk is happy for it to drag on as it takes the attention way from the corruption scandal.

@mariner4life I did love Dutton having a swipe at the QLD ALP state government for its poor behaviour.
Probably right in between forgetting to declare rental properties.

Having Dutton and Hansen on my side was nearly enough to change my attitude entirely

I'm struggling to understand how this is resulting in the usual dipshits taking a potshot at the Government? Govt estimates were based on the initial registrations, lots of people either fucked those up, or have not taken up the scheme, something you wouldn't know until the April reports were submitted in the 1st and 2nd week of May.
This is also a good thing. That's $60B of government money that's not being spent.

@NTA A reporting error? That makes it sound like someone else's problem, rather than the clowns doing the modelling. How hard is it to look at the actual outgoings?
The outgoings only happened 2 weeks ago
